San Diego, May 2nd 2017 – Retail Revisited in a multi-series, free podcast hosted by Justin Kurn, a Director at The Friedman Group. It focuses on a multitude of rare interviews with The Friedman Group’s founder and retail genius, Harry J. Friedman.
The first 5 episodes of the series were launched on iTunes and Google Play and are available to listen and subscribe to on The Friedman Group’s website http://184.108.40.206/pba-dev/thefriedmangroup.com/retail-revisited-podcasts-and-blogs/.
Podcast Episode #1: The Daunting Task of Training New Hires, discusses the dilemma that most companies are faced with when they need to hire and train new team members.
Harry describes that the root cause of not wanting to adequately train and test new hires on their knowledge is a consequence of poor hiring. “If you’re not good at recruiting, or if you’re not good at attracting people to come to work for you, then you’re scared to death to test (on their training). Think about that…if I close one of my eyes, I don’t have to feel bad about how terrible my staff is.”
“This is one of the most interesting and exciting projects I have ever worked on” said Justin Kurn, the host of the podcast, “the feedback so far has been amazing which affirms how valuable the insight is. Fans of Harry will get what they bargained for. A listener can be anyone from an hourly employee to a business owner, there is something in it for everyone.”
Upcoming Episodes Include:
· Podcast Episode #2: Salesmanship without the Pushy Feeling
· Podcast Episode #3: The Benefits of E-Learning
· Podcast Episode #4: The Power of Adding On
· Podcast Episode #5: What is a Natural Born Salesperson
