INDUCTION, COACHING & MENTORING

The I.C.M. program is only available to retailers who have The Friedman Groups Retail Management system (red dot, black dot, gold star) in place.

This program is an exciting new development that has been born from a need identified by some of our key retailers. Our clients discussed with us their need for assistance in four key areas of our management program.

  • Staff Induction
  • Policy & Procedures
  • Staff Coaching
  • Management Mentoring

With our customized programs this would normally be driven by HR or senior management, and for years we felt that any failing in this area was due to poor implementation or inadequate delegation of responsibility.

Well, in many cases it seems, retail companies do not have the manpower and resources or know-how to drive these functions of business management. We soon realized that we were the best people to take over this role, particularly in companies that had just put in the management system. We developed a program and ran it for twelve months in two of our retailers during 2005….with amazing results – bottom line results!

Here’s a look at how it works:

TFG will provide a total of six days (2 days per month) for every 3 month period, per the life of the agreement as support/consultancy. These days are typically used for :

  • One on One Field Coaching
    • Coaching Regional and Store Managers for improved performance
    • Implementation of performance reviews
    • Implementation of Training Action Plans
  • Mentoring
    • Providing business assistance and information at all levels
